Nigerian trans woman Miss Sahhara shares video of trans people being killed
In recognition of the worldwide transgender day of remembrance, Nigerian transsexual, Miss Sahhara shares a painful and thought provoking video showing trans people being killed and brutalized in different countries.
The beauty queen dedicated the video to black trans people who have lost their lives trying to live their authentic lives and truth.

In a caption which accompanied the video, she wrote “This video is dedicated to all my black trans people who have passed away and those still alive surviving this battle called life. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! YOU ARE LOVED!
According to Wikipedia, Transgender Day of Remembrance occurs annually on November 20, and it is a day set to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia and to draw attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.

In Nigeria, members of the LGBT community struggle for their lives every day, and with ignorance as a result of less education on the issue within Africa, many are mobbed and killed, others run away from their homes to live on the streets after they have been discovered and harassed.
The transgender community in Nigeria is almost insignificant, as its members are forced to stay underground for fear of getting into serious trouble.
