Nigerian Police Claims Woman Is Bisexual And Declares Her Wanted
It has come to our notice here at NoStrings about the picture of a certain young woman circulating on social media, whose name appeared as Chinyeaka Immaculata Onwuzurike in an unnamed Nigerian newspaper as a wanted person. The description on the paper stated that she is wanted for engaging in bisexual activities. The description reads:
This is to inform the general public that the bearer whose photograph and name is shown above is wanted for being in bisexual activities. Anyone with relevant information about her whereabouts should report: The Nigerian Police Force, NAS. Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
Some are in doubts if this is even a real story, and some others are concerned about the young woman’s safety and deeply worried why the Nigerian police amidst all the issues that the country is currently experiencing will choose to pursue the case of a bisexual woman.
If this story is actually true, then this will mark very the first time that the Nigerian police will go to this length in cases concerning issues like this.
Also, some others are implying that if there is any truth at all to this story, then it could be that the woman whose picture appears above, could be using this as a plan to seek for asylum in a foreign country as stated by a commenter who saw the picture on Facebook, and said: This is what we call “asylum hustle”
However this turns out, we at NoStrings condemn this. This isn’t right, and even if this story is true, then still, the Nigerian police have no right to publish the pictures of a person on paper or anywhere, who obviously hasn’t been convicted of any crime. And to the journalist who agreed to bow to this very shameful, unprofessional and unethical practice by accepting to do this, I say shame, shame!!!
