Yomi who is currently living with his boyfriend in the U.K shared the romantic photos on Facebook to celebrate his journey as queer as well as his relationship with his boyfriend whom he referred to as the most important person in his life.
See his post below:
Just a few days ago, Yomi who served as a youth pastor whilst still in Nigeria, shared a throwback post on Facebook about his then struggles with his sexuality.
Yomi who came out to his parents in 2018 via Whatsapp, is now living openly and proudly as gay with his boyfriend and helping other queer Africans through ‘Living Free U.K.’ a social enterprise he founded to support other Queer Africans in the U.K.
True, it might have been easy for Yomi and his boyfriend to publicly show romantic affection towards each other because they are in a country that affirms their sexuality, however, this also goes a long way to inspire and assure other LGBTIQ+ persons that finding and sustaining a healthy same-sex relationship is possible.
